Introduction of Glass grid
fiberglass geogrid is a versatile and effective material for soil reinforcement and stabilization in various civil engineering and construction applications. Its high tensile strength, durability, and resistance to environmental factors make it a popular choice for improving the performance and longevity of infrastructure projects.
Fiberglass geogrid is made of high-quality reinforced alkali-free glass fiber yarn, woven into the base material by warp knitting machine, and adopts the warp knitting directional structure to make full use of the strength of the yarn in the fabric, improve its mechanical properties, and make it have good tensile strength. Strength, tear strength and creep resistance, and are coated with high-quality modified bitumen to form a flat network material.
Features of Glass grid:
Fiberglass geogrid has the characteristics of high strength, low elongation, high temperature resistance, high modulus, light weight, good toughness, corrosion resistance, long life, etc. It can be widely used in old cement pavement, airport runway maintenance, embankment , river bank, slope protection, road and bridge pavement enhancement treatment and other engineering fields, can strengthen and reinforce the pavement, prevent pavement rutting fatigue cracks, hot-cold expansion cracks and underlying reflection cracks, and can disperse the bearing stress of the pavement and extend the pavement. Service life, high tensile strength, low elongation, no long-term creep, good physical and chemical stability, good thermal stability, fatigue crack resistance, high temperature rutting resistance, low temperature shrinkage crack resistance, delay reduction of reflection cracks.
Application of Glass grid:
1. It reinforces old asphalt concrete road surface and asphalt surface layer, and prevents damage;
2. it used for rebuilding cement concrete road surface into composite road surface and restraining reflection caused by block contraction;
3. it is used in road expansion and improvement project and crack caused by old and new combination position and uneven sedimentation;
4. it is used in soft soil base reinforcement treatment ,is favorable for soft soil water separation and concretion, restrains sedimentation effectively, distributes stress uniformly and improve overall strength of road base;
5. it is used for preventing contraction crack caused by new road semi-rigid base layer, and reinforcing and preventing road surface crack caused by foundation crack reflection
