Woven geotextile

Leave a message

The woven geotextile is composed of at least two sets of parallel yarns (or flat yarns). One set is called warp yarn along the longitudinal direction of the loom (the direction in which the fabric travels), and the other set is called weft yarn.

With different weaving equipment and processes, the warp and weft yarns are interwoven and woven into a cloth, which can be woven into different thicknesses and densities according to different usage ranges. Generally, the thinner vertical and horizontal directions of the woven geotextile have a strong resistance Tensile strength (longitude is greater than latitude), has good stability. The woven geotextile is divided into two categories of reinforced geotextile and unreinforced geotextile according to the weaving process and the use of warp and weft. The warp tensile strength of the reinforced geotextile is much greater than that of ordinary geotextile.

The general practical application of woven geotextiles and the reinforcement of geotechnical projects are mainly reinforced and strengthened, with plane isolation and protection functions, and without plane drainage functions can be selected according to the specific purpose of use.
