Geogrid is a geosynthetic product used for stabilization and reinforcement in Civil Construction. biaxial geogrid is a type of geogrid primarily used for soil reinforcement and stabilization in civil engineering and construction projects. It is characterized by its grid-like structure with evenly spaced apertures (openings) and high tensile strength in two perpendicular directions.
Biaxial Geogrid has three types based on material.

Applications of Biaxial Geogrids:
* Road and Pavement Construction:
Reduces rutting and extends the life of roads by distributing traffic loads.
Used in base reinforcement for highways, airports, and parking lots.
* Retaining Walls & Slopes:
Reinforces soil to prevent erosion and slope failure.
Used in mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls.
* Railway Ballast Stabilization:
Prevents track deformation by confining ballast materials.
* Foundation Support:
Improves load-bearing capacity on weak soils.
* Landfill and Erosion Control:
Stabilizes embankments and landfill liners.
