Types of Geogrid:
1. Uniaxial geogrid – has high-strength in one direction, making it suitable for applications such as soil reinforcement and stabilization.
2. Biaxial geogrid – has high-strength in two directions, making it ideal for enhancing the performance of base reinforcement, subgrade stabilization, and retaining walls.
3. Triaxial geogrid – has high-strength in all three directions, making it effective for use in applications requiring multi-dimensional reinforcement such as railway ballasts and landfill covers.
4. Geocomposite geogrid – combines a geogrid with a non-woven geotextile or other materials to enhance drainage, filtration, and erosion control.
5. Geogrid mats – pre-assembled sheets of geogrid that can be quickly installed to provide erosion control, load support, and slope stabilization.
