Polyester Geogrid
Polyester geogrid is made of high-strength industrial polyester or polypropylene filament fiber, and is manufactured by warp knitting directional structure composite weaving process. The warp fiber yarns in the warp-knitted polyester geogrid are directly wound and cross-bundled with the same-dimensional high-strength fiber filaments to form a firm joint, which has excellent mechanical properties and long-term strength stability. Jialutong warp knitted polyester geogrid has the characteristics of high tensile strength, small ductility, strong reinforcement ability, high tear strength, balanced vertical and horizontal strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, light weight, etc., which can effectively lock soil or Crushed stone greatly enhances the shear resistance and overall stability of the soil. The warp-knitted polyester geogrid is widely used in the treatment of soft soil foundations of roads, railways, municipalities, etc., as well as the reinforcement and protection of roadbeds, dams and other projects.

Advantage:
Polyester geogrids offer numerous advantages in terms of strength, durability, versatility, and cost-effectiveness, making them a popular choice for various geotechnical applications.
1. High tensile strength: Polyester geogrids have high tensile strength, which allows them to withstand heavy loads and provide stability to the soil. This makes them suitable for applications such as soil reinforcement and retaining walls.
2. Durability: Polyester geogrids are resistant to chemical and biological degradation, making them durable and long-lasting. They can withstand harsh environmental conditions, including exposure to UV radiation, moisture, and temperature variations.
3. Lightweight: Polyester geogrids are lightweight compared to other materials like steel or concrete, making them easier to handle and install. This can result in cost savings and reduced labor requirements during construction.
4. High resistance to creep: Polyester geogrids have low creep characteristics, meaning they do not deform or stretch significantly over time. This helps maintain the integrity of the soil structure and prevents settlement or deformation.
5. Versatility: Polyester geogrids can be used in a wide range of applications, including road and railway construction, slope stabilization, erosion control, and reinforcement of embankments. They can be easily customized to suit specific project requirements.
6. Cost-effective: Polyester geogrids are generally more cost-effective compared to traditional reinforcement materials like steel or concrete. Their lightweight nature also reduces transportation costs.
7. Compatibility with different soil types: Polyester geogrids have good compatibility with various soil types, including cohesive and non-cohesive soils. They can be used in both granular and cohesive soil conditions, providing effective reinforcement and stability.
