Composite Geomembrane

The geomembrane is a composite of plastic film and non-woven fabric.
The impermeability of new material geomembrane mainly depends on the impermeability of plastic film. PVC, PE and EVA are the main plastic films for anti-seepage application at home and abroad. In tunnel application, ECB (ethylene vinyl acetate modified asphalt blend geomembrane) is also designed and used. They are polymer chemical flexible materials with small proportion, strong elongation, high adaptability to deformation, corrosion resistance and low temperature resistance , good frost resistance.



Geomembrane is a kind of waterproof and barrier material based on polymer.      

  It is mainly divided into: low density polyethylene (LDPE) geomembrane, high density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane.

Geomembrane           
1. The width and thickness specifications are complete.           
2. It has excellent environmental stress cracking resistance and chemical corrosion resistance.           
3. Excellent chemical resistance.           
4. It has a large temperature range and a long service life.           
5. It is used in landfill, tailings storage, canal seepage control, Dike Seepage Control and subway engineering
The main mechanism is to cut off the leakage channel of earth dam with the impermeability of plastic film, to bear the water pressure and adapt to the deformation of dam body with its large tensile strength and elongation rate; and non-woven fabric is also a kind of short polymer fiber chemical material, which has high tensile strength and elongation through needling or hot sticking forming. After it is combined with plastic film, it not only increases the tensile strength of plastic film Because of the rough surface of the nonwoven fabric, the friction coefficient of the contact surface is increased, which is beneficial to the stability of the composite geomembrane and the protective layer. At the same time, they have good corrosion resistance to bacteria and chemistry, and they are not afraid of acid, alkali and salt erosion. They have long service life under the condition of dark use


Main application         
   1. HDPE geomembrane is suitable for environmental protection and sanitation, such as landfill, sewage treatment plant, power plant regulating pool, industrial and hospital solid waste, etc;           
2. LDPE anti-seepage membrane is applicable to water conservancy projects, such as anti-seepage, leakage stoppage, reinforcement, anti-seepage of water channel, vertical core wall, slope protection, etc;           
3. HDPE anti-seepage membrane in Municipal Engineering: subway, building underground engineering, planting roof, roof garden, sewage pipe anti-seepage;           
4. Polyethylene impervious membrane is suitable for Garden: artificial lake, river, reservoir, water pond bottom of golf course, slope protection, waterproof and moisture-proof of green lawn, etc;           
5. High density polyethylene geomembrane is suitable for petrochemical industry: chemical plant, oil refinery, oil storage tank anti-seepage, chemical reaction tank, sedimentation tank lining, secondary lining, etc;           
6. Polyethylene geomembrane is suitable for mining industry: washing pond, heap leaching pond, ash yard, dissolving pond, settling pond, storage yard, bottom liner of tailings, etc;
